Myia Kramer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the Greater Sacramento Area. Myia has been in the field of therapy since 2007, having started her career working in community agencies that provide Wraparound services to high-risk children and adolescents with complex mental health needs. Myia spent three years teaching English, in Japan to High School students, as a member of the JET Programme (Japanese Exchange Teachers Programme).

After returning to the United States in 2012, Myia completed her hours for licensure and continued her psychotherapy career as the Clinical Program Manager for a Northern California County for patients with Severe Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis needs. Part of her current career path is managing an Addiction Medicine Program.

Myia is also passionate about helping the BIPOC community, with emphasis on Women of Color, families and teens. Depending on the specific needs and abilities of each client, a variety of treatment modalities may be incorporated as needed.

Additionally, Myia routinely presents on mental health issues for community groups and professional organizations.
